I have tons of items to add to my site, however, I did not have any good photos of them. I just got a new jewelry photo kit so I will be happily snapping away these next couple of weeks and posting the photo's.
I've been filling up my time taking classes at "The Bead Shop" in Palo Alto and learning some basic metalsmithing skills. The instructor, Randi Samuels, is a wonderful teacher and really makes the classes enjoyable. The first class I took was her Soldered Decorative Earrings class and I just finished her Riveted Rings class last night. I am signed up for another one of her classes called Lyrical Earrings in February and she has several more I am interested in. You can find out more about her and The Bead Shop at http://beadshop.com/.If you live locally and would like to learn how to make jewelry using metal, I highly recommend the classes at The Bead Shop.
Since Luxe Jewels has decided to eliminate the Do-It-Yourself kits and focus on pre-made jewelry, I am taking a break to see what is going to happen in the next few months. I am not sure I will continue as a Luxe Jewels Consultant as I preferred teaching the jewelry making techniques and loved the DIY kits. I am very conflicted about it right now and don't want to make a decision just yet.
